Carol MaryDEVLINIt is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Mary Devlin (née Leitch), born 8th November 1960, who departed peacefully on 11th April 2025 after a very short illness, surrounded by her loving family.
Carol leaves behind her devoted husband Campbell, her three cherished daughters Susanne, Karen with fiancé Srikanth, and Jennifer, her beloved parents Susan and the late Tom, and her dear siblings Fiona with husband Martin, and Jim with wife Brigit.
Carol will be remembered for her kindness, care, and thoughtfulness. She had a special gift for encouraging others and found great joy in this chapter of her life, treasuring time spent with family and pursuing her passion for travel.
A service celebrating Carol's life will be held on Thursday 1st May at 11:15am at Masonhill Crematorium, followed by a gathering at The Carlton, a place that held special significance as the location of her very first job.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the NHS teams at Crosshouse, Ayr Hospital, and Racecourse Road Surgery for their care and compassion.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
